Learn basic emergency response skills with Upland CERT! We welcome Upland community members to learn to prepare your neighborhood and family.

One reservation per person is needed. You may reserve for the first day of training, and that will enroll you for the entire class.

FREE CERT Basic Training! This class educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact our area and in basic disaster response skills. CERT offers a consistent, nation wide approach to volunteer training and organization that professional responders can rely on during a disaster. This allows for first responders to focus on more complex tasks. CERT Volunteers also support the emergency management mission of whole community preparedness, public outreach, and preparation before, during and after a disaster.

Feb 18th: Fire Suppression & Utility Controls
Feb 23rd: Light Search and Rescue
Feb 27th: Terrorism Awareness, Course Review, Disaster Simulation Exercise

Minors between the age of 15-17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 21 years or older

Dress Code: For safety reasons, it is important that students to be dressed with safety in mind. Please wear long pants, closed to shoes, and weather appropriate tops.
