How will YOU build the future?
This is OUR collective house, our collective home, our collective society. We didn't build the foundation. We inherited it. None of us created the societal conditions we see today. No blame. No shame.
But now WE have a responsibility to construct or reconstruct the future. Our vote is how we design and build the society we want for us ... and to pass to future generations.
Voting is more than a duty; it is OUR architectural agency. Every election is a construction site where WE ALL are given a set of "Lego blocks" to place exactly where WE want to change, sustain, restore, or reconstruct the societal conditions of OUR community.
But we inherited a set of conditions from previous generations who struggled over the society they wanted to construct or reconstruct. Those conditions were passed down to us. Unresolved. The struggle over America's future continues with each generation of voters. That can feel like a burden, but it is also an opportunity.
When we abstain from the electoral process, it is not an act of neutrality. By withholding our architectural agency, we hand over our design capabilities to others who will build a society that may adversely impact us; and if we don't show up at the construction site, we waive our right to complain about the results.

- Time: 4 PM PST.
- Format: Online 90-minute interactive engagements.
