character studies: an exploration of para-social intimacy
An examination of the porous boundary between authenticity and performance through the evolving personas we adopt to be understood, protected, or desired.

Artist Bio
Willie Cherry is a queer artist and digital creator whose work investigates persona, para-social intimacy, and the evolving performance of self online and in-person. Through The Breslin, Willie constructs a visual and narrative archive of domestic rituals, aesthetic obsessions, and character studies drawn from everyday life. Their practice navigates the space between sincerity and artifice, asking what it means to be seen, curated, and understood in public.
