WHO: Charles Gang (18-40)! Let's reunite and have a good time. Significant others and very close family friends are also welcome. This event is NOT for our parents.
WHAT: Carnival Fascination- you’re not only on your way to a fun vacation, but you’re also entering a world inspired by glitz and stardom. Wander among the onboard classic Hollywood décor as you cruise, and cast your inner star in an epic vacation.
WHEN: May 16, 2021, at 6 pm & Return May 23, 2021, at 7 am
WHERE: We will depart from San Juan, Puerto Rico and visit 5 islands including St. Thomas, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, and Barbados
WHY: Many of us haven't seen each other in years or have never even met. We just hear our parents saying "you know them that's ___'s son/daughter." Then they do a quick family tree. Yea, my mom does that all the time. The whole point of this trip is to bring the younger generations together for a full week of fun and bonding with our cousins. Plus, we get to return to the place where the Charles' originated.

Welcome, everyone! If you decide to fly in early get some R&R. Take a load off and visit a beach, eat some delicious food, go sightseeing; but for heaven's sake please please PLEASE do not miss the boat. Pay attention to your check-in time on your boarding pass and be prompt. Get on the ship so we can start our trip!

Hi, I'm St. Thomas, the gateway to the US Virgin Islands. Seeking beauty and bliss? Follow me to treasures untold. (I mean not exactly untold. I'm going to tell you about them right now.) Fly away on a magical parasailing adventure. From way up high, spot all treasures at once. Feel my warm breeze blowing through your hair while you enjoy riches beyond compare. Ride on a high-speed catamaran and drop anchor near my most fantastic beaches. Explore my warm ocean water as you discover treasures of brightly covered seahorses and tropical fish. I'm practically covered in Xs. My top-ten list includes Drake Seat, Devil's Triangle, and Skyline Drive. Explore my greatest treasures. Then we'll do some rum tasting. That oughta hit the spot!

Hi, I'm Antigua (nickname: Wadadli). I've always felt special. Different. The kind of island to stand out in the crowd. I mean, I have every beach for every day of the year. Pretty unique, right? I wear a lot of fancy pants and these pants come in all shades. Ocean blue, summer sand, bubbly champagne, and fresh lobster, to name a few. Sail with me on a catamaran to a lovely beach as I wine and dine you. Fish. Swim. I will introduce you to some very impressive and surprisingly friendly locals viewing amongst my sparkling sand bar. I know, I'm wowing you again. I can't help myself. Zip-lines, suspension bridges, and aerial walkways. Bring your A-game because my rainforest challenge course has lots of ups and downs, ins and outs, highs and lows... and well you get it.

Hi, I'm Dominica. Everything about me is inspirational -- even my hot springs (second largest in the world). Someone was definitely (probably) sitting in my hot springs while writing Meet Me Tonight In Dreamland. I bet he was getting a waterfall massage, too. The lyrics are just so me. A total dreamland. A few minutes tubing down my river and you'll feel carefree, light, and relaxed. In other words... fun. Mark my lyrics, no one leaves here without a smile. Your heart will nearly burst with love and adoration when you see my lush rain forest, vibrant exotic birds, sparkling waterfalls and volcanic sandy beaches. And trust me, I love you back. Truly.

Hi, I'm Grenada - one of the spiciest islands ever, (I grow tons of spices) but that's just one of the bazillion great things about me. To save time I'll just list my top 3. I am very Rum-antic. Of all the things I'm good at making the rum is a highlight. Stop by my distillery and sample the good stuff before spending the day lounging on my beach. I told you I'm good. I am quite the charmer. I've restored some of my old 1950s Creole buses to add a little charm and style as you ride along taking in my views, beaches and taking in my history. I'll charm your socks off. Or your sandals. I'm 100% picturesque. Don't blink. You don't want to miss an inch of my scenery. Join me in Fort Frederick and Grand Etang Park. my historical and geographical beauty makes for some amazing selfie backdrops.

Hi, I'm Barbados, named for the Spanish word Barba, meaning beard. Check out my bearded fig trees. They're unique... like me! So, get ready. You're about to see a lot of different things. I have a special kind of beauty. Journey underground and explore my caves filled with stalactites, crystal- clear streams, and waterfalls. You'll never forget my beauty. Never. Sure, SCUBA's cool but have you ever been on a submarine? Get up close and personal with my exotic sea terrain while aboard the Atlantis submarine. Different? Yeah, to say the least. Take a luxurious catamaran ride through my waters and enjoy drinks, food, and fantastic scenery. Afterward, take a swim with my sea turtles. You'll come out of your shell and into fun

Day at Sea (EVERYONE wear your t-shirt)
There's a lot of stuff to do at sea. You can try out Guy's Burger Joint, arts and crafts for all ages, Caribbean Redfrog Rum Bar, Carnivals Player Club, a lip sync battle, mega deck parties, a serenity adult retreat, a Cherry on Top candy store and lastly a spa carnival.

Return to cruise port, Puerto Rico @ 7AM
We made it! This is our final destination! This will be a trip we will remember for a very long time. Please don't be stingy; share the pictures and videos you all took along the way. We pray everyone makes it to their final destinations safely. If you are staying on the island for a bit enjoy the rest of your vacation. Charles Gang it's been real! I love you!!

FAQ
How do I pay?
Please call Carnival Group Bookings at 1-(866)-721-3225 and give them our group number: G03RH7 and pin: 0521 to make your $25 reservation and $250 deposit. Once your account is all set up you will be given access to the Carnival website to make ongoing payments or you can continue to call and make payments if you so choose.
An additional charge of $97.93 per day for gratuity can be paid one of two options 1) upfront during booking 2) the second to last day of the cruise. If necessary, the gratuity amount can be customized at the help desk onboard.

How do I get there?
Carnival Cruise Line can provide flight bookings and shuttle services to and from the San Juan (SJU) airport and the ship upon request. When you book your flight with Carnival you will be able to add it to your payment plan as part of your cruise reservation.
Shuttle service can be provided for $20 each way.
If you choose not to book with Carnival, book your flight to land in Puerto Rico no later than 3 pm on 05/16/2021 to avoid missing the on-boarding process. To avoid missing your return flight book no earlier than 12 pm 05/23/2021

Yes, you can pick your cabin-mate. I strongly suggest you make your pick before booking your cabin to split down payment costs.
Can I eat dinner with the group?
Yes, we will be having dinner together every night. When making your reservations request to have dinner at 8:15 pm and remind them you would like to be seated at the group table.
What add-ons can I purchase on the ship?
