  • Presentation:  As artificial intelligence becomes embedded in manufacturing and critical infrastructure operations, the nature of cyber risk is fundamentally changing. AI transforms cybersecurity from an IT concern into an operational, safety, and governance challenge with real world consequences. It can be difficult for an executive team to cut through hype to focus on tangible risk and emerging threat vectors. In today’s rapidly changing world, traditional AI ethics and risk frameworks fall short in operational environments. In the next 30 minutes, you will gain a practical, leadership focused understanding of risk centric AI governance and leave with clear guidance on how leaders can maintain human control, resilience, and accountability as AI systems increasingly influence high impact decisions.

Bio: I specialize in digital transformation through business enablement to devise, design, and deploy a cohesive security vision
customized to meet the current and future needs of corporations and organizations. I enable organizations to anticipate, address,
avert, and respond to security risks that could impact them, their clients, or their industry.
I have extensive experience in product security, secure software development, regulatory compliance, and securing technology that
enables critical infrastructure. I’ve worked with US and Global intelligence agencies and was appointed the Point of Contact for
President Biden’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. I’ve been a technical expert in planning
cybersecurity incident response drills for most states and with the US military.
I believe in practical, iterative steps towards increasing transparency and security maturity.

Johnnie Tabron, Senior Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare, !

Presentation Topic:  "Governing Agentic Work — An Open Architecture for AI Workforce Adoption"

Abstract/Summary:

Moving beyond AI chatbots means trusting agents to build applications, reach internal systems, and run repeatable workflows. That trust cannot be granted with a long-lived API key. In this session, Johnnie Tabron draws on Cloudflare's own internal experience and the newly open-sourced Cloudflare OS architecture to show what it actually takes to put agents to work safely.

Attendees will see how organizational context and reusable skills keep agents aligned to established terminology, procedures, and standards, and how a conversation becomes an editable document, a connected application, and a mostly deterministic workflow. They will also learn why capability-based access beats handing credentials to agents and generated code. From there, the talk walks through the governance layer that constrains agent authority, controls where observed data moves, and preserves human accountability, before showing how every step gets centralized oversight and how agents finally ship as isolated, full-stack applications that any organization can deploy and customize in its own Cloudflare account.

Benefits-led but security-focused, the session's central message is that useful enterprise AI demands more than controlling the first model or tool call. Designed for security leaders, architects, cloud and platform engineers, developers, GRC professionals, and AI practitioners, the talk is presented through diagrams, architecture visuals, and interface examples, followed by Q&A.

Bio: Johnnie Tabron is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare, where he leads technical strategy across the company's developer and security platforms. He partners with engineering, architecture, and security teams to design scalable, low-latency systems, most recently helping organizations move beyond AI chatbots toward agents that build applications, access internal systems, and run repeatable workflows safely.

Johnnie brings deep expertise across Cloudflare's developer stack, from Workers, Durable Objects, D1, R2, and Vectorize to AI Gateway, and in how governed agentic systems come together through capability-based access, Gatekeepers, MCP Server Portals, human approvals, and observation-aware policy. Drawing on the open-sourced Cloudflare OS architecture, he helps teams turn conversational AI into reviewable, deterministic software without handing broad credentials to agents.

During his tenure at Cloudflare, Johnnie has won multiple awards and ranked among the top of Cloudflare's sales engineering team. He has served on panels and stages across the industry, and his favorite part of it all is spending time onsite with customers.
