Welcome to the registration page for the Clan McGrath International Gathering 2024, bringing together McGraths from across the world we will gather in the beautiful homeland of our ancestors.
The 2024 Gathering will return to the historic town of Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and is the culmination of the combined efforts of the various septs who form Cumann Chlann Mhic Craith / the Clan McGrath Society.
The society is a vehicle to drive forward our aim to promote our clan in all its forms at national and international level, establishing close bonds and building a sustainable platform for historical and genealogical research.
Our programme of events is focused on our core theme of 'The Evolution of the Clan McGrath' exploring our history, heritage and culture. Featuring tours of historic sites associated with our clan’s history we will also welcome family history experts, lectures and discussions, host a clan BBQ, official clan dinner and two book launches and unveil an historic plaque to mark the launch of Sleady 400, our campaign to preserve one of the last McGrath castles. The 2024 Gathering will also see the election and inauguration of the first combined Clan McGrath Society Taoiseach / Chieftain. Join us for all this and much, much more.
