Come join us at our new bakery space in North Beach to learn our best tips and tricks to make delicious buttery treats! We will start the class with an intro to the croissant process, explain how to make the dough, and an overview of the three day process. Next you will roll, cut, fill and shape your own croissants and pain au chocolat using a variety of fillings. You’ll learn how to hand laminate and learn techniques you can use at home, as well as how to use the dough sheeter for extra special techniques like bicolor and cross lamination.
As our croissants proof, we will make our cult favorite chocolate chip cookies, and walk through other basic pastry techniques that will help you become a more confident home baker.
Finally we will bake our croissants, fill and stuff them if we please, and chat as we eat our warm delicious creations! You will have plenty of treats to take home, a recipe packet, and hopefully all your questions answered!
