The 2025 UNFCCC COP30, hosted by Brazil in Belém, will put Nature and Brazil at the center of the global climate agenda. As the world looks to Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for one-third of the carbon reductions needed by 2030, Brazil has an essential role, with 73% of the country’s GHG emissions stemming from agriculture and deforestation.

For any nature-committed investor, the country is arguably the prime market to focus on: Brazil has mature local capital markets and some of the most sophisticated agritech and NbS talent.

The COP30 Mobilization is the opportunity for investors to demonstrate leadership, be recognized (if desired), expected in the official Blue Zone agenda and other events, and gain support to achieve their nature-positive investment ambitions.

• Identify and recognize US$5 billion in intent to invest in Brazil NbS over the next 36 months (e.g. in regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, restoration, and bioeconomy);
