Habari Gani Family:

‘Creating Unity in the Community' aims to celebrate and strengthen the African and Pan-Africanism movement through the practice of Kwanzaa culture, traditions, and ancestry. The Nguzo Saba (seven principles) focuses on family values and youth initiatives, including performers, vendors, speakers, and activism. We honor our ancestors by practicing libation for Unity in the Community. Our goal is to foster generational solidarity and promote unity within our community.

We wholeheartedly extend a special invitation to join us on this historic occasion as we honor Hip-Hop's Birthplace the Boogie Down Bronx fifty years, for the Parkchester Annual Celebration of Kwanzaa. This year, we celebrate the fifth principle of Kwanzaa, "Nia (Purpose)," which emphasizes our commitment to the collective vocation of building, developing, and defending our community, its culture, and history in order to regain our historical initiative and greatness.” Our message is “Advocating Skills and Experience.
