Business and news presenter
Lerato Mbele is a business and news presenter well known for raising the profile of Africa in the broader agenda of world news and current affairs. Lerato has spoken at and moderated televised debates for the World Economic Forum on Africa, the World Bank and IMF annual meetings, African Development Bank summits, the UN Climate Change Summit COP-17 and has hosted the televised presidential debates for the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.

Lerato is a former business presenter for BBC World Television and was the host of Africa Business Report. As part of the Africa business unit, her team was responsible for all coverage of economic news, for both radio and television. Prior to joining the BBC, Lerato was a senior business anchor for the international business channel CNBC Africa. Thereafter she became a national public broadcaster of South Africa, on SABC 3, as the anchor of the prime-time daily News@10.

Euvin Naidoo
Faculty at Harvard Business School
Euvin Naidoo has international leadership experience across banking, management consulting and venture capital. He specialises in risk management, performance controls, governance and agile execution - incorporating themes of customer centricity and strategic alignment. Euvin is an expert senior lecturer of business administration in the Accounting and Management Unit at Harvard Business School, where he covers financial reporting and control.

Euvin began his banking career at Standard Bank in corporate and investment banking, focusing on acquisition finance, and later moved from Johannesburg to the New York office. He returned to South Africa in 2009 to head up the risk appetite and credit portfolio management team for Standard Bank. In 2013, Euvin was recruited to join Barclays Africa as the head of strategy for Africa. Euvin later became part of the African leadership team at the Boston Consulting Group, where he led financial institutions and public sector practices.
Andrew Johnstone
CEO of Climate Fund Managers
Andrew is an infrastructure, climate and blended finance specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the development of and investment in infrastructure and climate related assets in emerging markets. With expertise that span due diligence, capital structuring, execution of investments, refinancing, asset management, disposals and exits, and the establishment and management of fund managers and project companies, Andrew is highly regarded as being at the top of his field.

Andrew is the co-founder and CEO of Climate Fund Managers, that create and manage climate focused blended finance facilities across Africa, South East Asia and Latin America. Andrew was previously the CEO of African Infrastructure Investment Managers and the Chairman of Macquarie Africa, a business covering structured finance, capital markets and financial advisory services in Africa.
Andile Khumalo

Andile is a seasoned entrepreneur and Chartered Accountant (SA) with over 20 years of finance and business experience. He is the CEO of KhumaloCo which primarily invests in growth companies operating in Technology, Media and Financial Services. He is also the chairman of investee companies, Ince and Brave Group, and the founder of I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR. Andile is known for his talks and writing on business in South Africa, entrepreneurship and transformation
 
Andile started his career at Deloitte and later moved to Investec as an investment banker. He served as a member of the Takeover Regulations Panel, member of the Directorate of Market Abuse, director of South African Airways and President of ABASA. Andile currently serves as investment committee chairman at SANParks, independent audit committee member at Amplats Group Provident Fund, investment committee member at Kisby Fund, board member at Mentor-A-Boy-Child and is a fellow of The Centre for African Management and Markets.
Nersan Naidoo
CEO of Sanlam Investments
Nersan Naidoo has over 20 years’ of experience in investment management and business leadership, both locally and internationally. He is considered a leader in investment team management and investment operations areas for active asset management, multi management, hedge funds, derivative structuring, African asset management and index tracking.

Nersan was the founding member and chief executive of Sanlam Investments’ multi-manager business from 2002, before becoming the chief executive of Sanlam Investments in 2013. He was instrumental in building the business to its current status as one of the leading multi-managers in South Africa. In addition to the multi-manager, Nersan was also head of the previous investment services sub-cluster, which included Sanlam Collective Investments, BlueInk Investments, Sanlam Investments Multi-Manager, Graviton Financial Partners and Graviton Wealth Management. He is a member of Sanlam Investments’ Executive Committee, where he has served since 2007.
