What began in 1996 as a small local light show, is now a shining event in Northwestern Oklahoma each year. Ran by a committee of local members, Crystal Christmas is put on by the community, for the community. Each year the event relies entirely on the support of donations and volunteers, and each year the event becomes bigger and brighter thanks to the unwavering support of event volunteers and donors.

Crystal Gala
About The Event
For the fourth year in a row, the Crystal Christmas committee is hosting a fundraising event to ring in the new year we know will be spectacular.
One of the best parts about Crystal Gala? ALL proceeds go directly to making Crystal Christmas bigger and brighter each year. Last year we raised more than $19,000 at the gala, through sponsors, attendees, auctions etc. and that has made a HUGE difference for our event.
We have not only updated every display with new LED lights and rope lighting, we have also added a gift shop support beam structure so we can transport it with minimal damage each year, purchased a radio transmitter for our very own radio channel that serves the park (and nearly all of Woodward and outside of town a few miles), we added our very own sound system for the bandshell, speakers throughout the park to spread the joy, added even more memorial trees to honor those who have passed, built three new lit trees, and biggest of all we added our 20ft animated tree and accompanying singing displays to our Crystal Square with the help of BenTec Insurance Agency - Woodward. Not to mention the thousands of zip ties, hundreds of extension cords and countless repair and maintenance needs that keep our park shining bright throughout the season.
ALL of that is to say, we are so grateful to those who support and attend the gala – Your dollar is carefully spent and so deeply appreciated. Our event is funded completely by donation and run by volunteers, so without your support we couldn’t continue to shine and grow each and every year.
We hope you can join us for our Fourth Annual Crystal Gala fundraising event as we celebrate the new year together and look forward to the 30th season of Crystal Christmas!
In years past, volunteers from the community have been a HUGE help in preparation for the event, and even to help keep the event running smoothly during the busy season.
We will also have shifts available to work the entrance gate, exit gate, and our gift shop.
Want to help in other ways? Contact us to learn more about other available volunteer or sponsorship opportunities.
Without the contribution of the sponsors listed below, this event would not be the success that it is year after year.
For everything you have done for us in the past, everything you still do and will continue to do, we at Crystal Christmas just want you to know how thankful we are.
Crystal Christmas would not be the same if not for the generous support of donors and sponsors alike year after year. To find out more about how you can help support Crystal Christmas, contact the Woodward Chamber of Commerce.
