Special Guest: Doug Gilmour

We are thrilled to announce that Doug Gilmour will be joining us as a special guest!

Doug Gilmour is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey Devils, Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens. Gilmour was a seventh-round selection, 134th overall, of the Blues at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft and recorded 1,414 points in 1,474 games in the NHL between 1983 and 2003. A two-time All-Star, he was a member of Calgary's 1989 Stanley Cup championship team and won the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the NHL's best defensive forward in 1992-93. Internationally, he represented Canada three times during his career and was a member of the nation's 1987 Canada Cup championship team.

Doug Gilmour was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2011, and his uniform number 93 is retired by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The CTA Hall of Fame was established in 1995. The Hall of Fame is a CTA signature event to honour and recognize people who have impacted and changed the industry in a positive manner. CTA Members have proudly nominated their peers and colleagues. To date, fifty deserving individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. View Inductees Here
Event Conduct
Face masks are optional; please be kind to everyone, regardless of their choice. Now that masking is a personal choice, for the most part, individuals should be allowed to make that choice without fear or repercussions or conflict. Please help create a positive environment for everyone, regardless of whether an individual decides to wear a face mask or not.
Cancellation and Refund Policy for the CTA Annual Gala Event 2025
The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) incurs certain expenses prior to the CTA Annual Gala Event scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025. As such, the following cancellation and refund policy applies:

  • Cancellations 21 or more business days prior to the event (on or before October 20, 2025): A full refund will be issued, minus a $50.00 processing fee plus applicable taxes.
  • Cancellations 20 or fewer business days prior to the event (on or after October 21, 2025): No refunds will be issued.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the request. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If a substitute cannot be found, a full refund (less the $50.00 administration fee plus applicable taxes) is available if the cancellation request is received in writing at least 20 business days prior to the event date (on or before October 20, 2025). No other refunds will be granted.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. No refunds will be issued for registrants who do not meet the conditions outlined above.
