Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary is an Anglican, Biblical and Evangelical educational institution. Steeped in a long and rich tradition of providing education to newly freed slaves, the Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary (CMTS) has been a critical institution in the life of the Diocese of the Southeast of the Reformed Episcopal Church and the metropolitan Charleston, South Carolina area.

At Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary we endeavor to provide theological and educational opportunities that enable ministers and lay persons to enhance their religious training by taking courses designed to meet their needs in life and work of the church. The purpose of the Seminary is to give training not only for the “Pastoral Office”, but also for other church vocations.

The Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary Alumni Banquet celebrates graduates, alumni and current students of CMTS. It also serves as a fundraiser where proceeds benefit programming of the seminary.

Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary
Greetings from CMTS President/Dean...
Imagine the possibilities...

I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and invite you to attend our 2022 Annual Alumni Banquet and Gala with much excitement and gratitude. On this most elaborate occasion, we come together to celebrate and give God thanks for you, our alumni, graduates, and friends.

As the Cummins Seminary family and friends gather, we must not forget our commitment to our mission, "Equipping church leaders with the theological foundation and skills to reach within and beyond the Church with the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Imagine the possibilities CMTS has to grow, equip, and reach within our churches, training much-needed men and women for the ministry and reaching beyond winning lost souls for the kingdom worldwide.

With your continued commitment, prayers, and financial support, we can achieve; (1) Accreditation, (2) Fiscal stability, (3) Expand learning opportunities, (4) Improve operational excellence, (5) Upgrade needed technology, (6) Provide collaborative partnership and (7) Empower student success and community engagement.

Alumni, graduates, and friends imagine the possibilities of creating a giving environment that would elevate Cummins to the next level of theological education.

"Now unto Him, that is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages world without end. Amen." (Ephesians 3:20, 21 KJV)
