Children of Ghost; we bring to you a sermon most majestic and wondrous, right at the UK portal gates to the underworld known affectionately as the Devil's Arse! Deep in the gorge below Peveril Castle is Peak Cavern's imposing entrance chamber - the largest natural cave entrance in the British Isles.
Opening proceedings are an act most gruesome, revelling in the crazed and deranged mind of
Psychoberrie and the murder of her mother - by herself! Roll up for a stage show to rival
Alice Cooper and a pantomime as opulent as the darkest circus. And just for you,
Ward XVI have a agreed to break out of the asylum studio especially for this show!
https://linktr.ee/wardxviClosing proceedings are the UK's original tribute to Ghost;
Popestars! Formed in 2018, featuring Nameless Ghouls that have been infiltrating rock and metal acts of the midlands in wait for the deliverance of their Emeritus. You may have already seen them without knowing, having featured in acts such as
Cradle of Filth, Evil Scarecrow, Tigertailz, Luna's Call, Kid Klumsy, Forgotten Remains, Patriot Rebel, The City Kid's and
Blackwater Conspiracy! Having now toured to all four corners of the England and Wales and everywhere in between, they've even bagged a slot at
Bloodstock festival! The troupe have progressed from
Meliora, through
Prequelle, to
Impera, dazzling audiences with not only their spotless costumes, but wowing rats with their impeccable quality of sound and energetic performances.
www.popestars.ukWhat else to do? We will host a meet and greets for both acts, giving you the opportunity to talk one on one and have group photos! Plus we'll have a little market too with merch stalls for each act and the event. There is a bar on site but for food please visit the local pubs of which there are many within a few minutes walk! (We've worked out timings so you've got a gap between greets and performances).
The cavern remains at a constant 7 degrees temperature so a coat is recommended. The venue is suitable for disabled access and seating will be provided when pre-requested. Access to the venue from the dedicated carpark and town is sloped uphill and toilets are located in portaloo's at the entrance.
