If your dog loves getting dirty, and you don’t mind a bit of mud, then the Dirty Dog Challenge is for you.
Waikato District Council and Hamilton City Council Animal Control teams are joining up again for this award-winning event, to be held on Saturday 22 July 2023 in Ngaruawahia.
The Dirty Dog Challenge is a 2.5km or 6km obstacle course that you do with your dog by your side. All profits from the event will go towards subsidised dog de-sexing in Hamilton and Waikato District’s communities.
You don’t have to chose your distance, on the day you can decide whether to complete the full 6k loop or take the short cut and complete 2.5k.
This event is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes, but they must be vaccinated and in good health. They will need to be kept on a lead through the course.
