Join us on Saturday 12th of October 2024 to enjoy a gin, jazz and vinyl explosion in the heart of Camden. Imagine stepping back in time to a bygone era, immersed by elements of surprise at every turn. You also have the option to make your immersive experience on the day even more unforgettable. Purchase one of the sessions, which includes a delectable high tea at Brookfield House.

Brookfield House Option (1 Hour 50 Minute Sitting)

Best teahouse Australia wide, award winning and absolutely iconic. Help celebrate as two prestigious Camden homes unite, and mark the dawn of a new chapter for both these remarkable homes. Your Brookfield House option will have you start the event at this wonderful location enjoying a culinary delight before heading too Dr Crookston's Estate for an afternoon of Gin, Jazz and Vinyl.
When purchasing a Brookfield House Session you will be required to pay an additional $25 per person at Dr Crookston's Estate for the gin tasting session due to licensing requirements.

Dr Crookston’s Circa 1880s Estate, Camden - (2 hour immersive experience) Gin, Jazz & Vinyl

Gather your friends, family or business colleagues and step through the mystical gates. Be greeted with a welcome drink and the soft tones of Jazz as you enter the grounds.

The Gin
Our friends from Millsheds Distillery & Bar (Formerly Merrigangs) from Bowral in the Southern Highlands are coming to Camden for one day only. Taking over our circa 1895 tennis court, Nathan the head distiller will take you on a journey, exploring flavour profiles, botanicals, and it's link - to how one very Dr Crookston may have used it in the past. Enjoy a handful of varied gins and vodkas from this award winning distillery while soaking in your surrounds. The Millsheds are also offering a $10 discount off any bottles of their gin and vodka you may wish to purchase on the day!

The Jazz
Homemade, up and coming and talent from afar, will join together to offer a fusion and variety of Jazz in an environment befitting of such an event. Local artists will entertain as they channel their inner Ella Fitzgerald, you will be left amazed by the unearthed talent that walks amongst our community. Our roving saxophone player, who once shared the stage with James Morrison, will delight as he walks the grounds and joins with our vinyl DJ (We Play Records) to offer another eclectic moment within the estate.

The Vinyl
Like most great things from the past, collecting and listening to vinyl records is seeing a huge resurgence. What better way to spend a spring afternoon than indulging in some gin & vinyl. For avid collectors and curious newcomers alike, we invite you to browse our wide selection of vintage records that will be available for purchase.
Of course, vinyl is not just for looking at! Immerse all of your senses as you take the opportunity to listen at one of our record player stations. 

Still want more....
In the final stage of your session you will be taken to our olde English courtyard to settle, relax and take in this grand Victorian era home as it surrounds you from every side. Enjoy the Millsheds pay-as-you-go bar and sample our perfectly paired food to compliment your drink. Listen to the Jazz as it echoes around the grounds and immerse in the emotion of those that walked before you.
