2026 EcoForums Training Series
Navigating Global Carbon and Fuel Regulations, Market Mechanisms, and Life-Cycle Analysis Fundamentals
EcoEngineers is excited to announce the expansion of the EcoForums Training Series! These sessions continue to help professionals build critical skills and regulatory literacy in today’s fast-evolving carbon, fuels, and sustainability landscape.
The foundational courses provided earlier in the year offered essential knowledge for understanding compliance frameworks, carbon accounting, and fuel pathways. Those trainings on the U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard, California Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and life-cycle analysis are now available on-demand. Building on these fundamentals, the series now includes new content covering emerging and international frameworks, including:
Carbon Matters: Foundations of Carbon Literacy
This course builds essential carbon literacy by connecting the science, policy, and market mechanisms that underpin decarbonization strategies across industries and geographies.
Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM)
This course provides a practical introduction to the VCM, covering how credits are developed, verified, and traded, along with key market standards and emerging trends shaping the global carbon landscape.
Canada Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR)
This course delivers a comprehensive overview of the CFR, introducing the structure of the program, credit creation pathways, and the compliance framework before exploring credit markets and strategic considerations for participation.
These sessions are designed to broaden participants’ perspective beyond U.S. programs and deepen understanding of global market drivers and decarbonization strategies. Each training is approximately two hours long and is taught by EcoEngineers’ regulatory and analytical experts, offering both beginner-friendly education and advanced, real-world insights. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how these policies and markets intersect, along with a certificate of completion to support professional development goals.
This series is ideal for:
• Renewable fuel producers
• Project developers
• Corporate sustainability teams
• Environmental market investors
• Policy and compliance managers
• Students or professionals entering the low‑carbon fuels space
Participants may register for individual sessions or the full three‑course bundle.
