About the Artists

Goodbye Ranger
Coming off of their first nation-wide tour to promote their debut EP, locally raised Goodbye Ranger takes the more noise-drenched dreampop sounds of the early 90’s to ethereal new altitudes. Blissful girl/boy vocals, dramatic textural guitar work—ear candy for the shoegazer set.

KennyFlowers
KennyFlowers is a rising talent hailing from Southside Chicago. Kenny has evolved tremendously from singing in his hometown talent shows as a kid to now being a self-taught piano player, producer and songwriter– cultivating in his first major project “JOAT” in 2019, which raised attention everywhere. Kenny soon followed up with his singles, Fuck Boy (2019), Hollywood’s Close (2020) and Fireball (2020) just to hold us over until the release of his latest EP– “LBH” (2021). Expect more from Flowers.

My Mom, My Dad, and the TV News
The raw, uncensored diary of a zillenial teenage girl, retold by her adult woman self.
In 2007, inspired by Go Ask Alice, a young Jewish valley girl sets out to record her every waking moment for the sake of history. What follows is the worst case of main character syndrome known to date. Teenage Milli gets rejected by crushes, knows better than her parents, deserves the lead in every school play, and will NOT be brainwashed by the nightly news. She is all of us, and she is nobody at all. Embarrassing, heartwarming and painfully honest, My Mom, My Dad and the TV News will cure your high school trauma.

Written and performed by Millicent Miereanu and Emily Woods, My Mom, My Dad and the TV News had its world premiere at The Virgil in July. It features Melina Young and Noah Kentis as supporting cast, and Genny Miereanu as a one woman crew. Milli and Emily are in the process of revising and extending the play for future runs.

Easy Sleeper
The LA indie rock quartet and "haus band" of The Edge recently released their first EP, "Stay Home Always", garnering national radio play on SiriusXMU, and have since been touring the Southwest as well as up the California coast. This Summer the band has been working on self-recording and mixing their debut album to be released in early 2024. They're taking a little break from the studio to put on a very special show for Edge Fest, featuring mostly unreleased songs.

Slug Bug
Slug Bug is a four-piece group based out of Tempe, Arizona. It is hard to pinpoint their exact sound, but it is reminiscent of the early garage rock and indie style out of the 90s and early 2000s comparable to bands such as Pavement, Cloud Nothings, and The Strokes. Within their year and a half of being a band they have played local festivals in Phoenix, most notably M3F, have opened for a plethora of touring bands, and released a debut EP titled "Jazz Compilation 5" in March.

rico triste
Mainstay act of The Edge and local alternative pop icon rico triste has the ability to make audiences sad-cry and happy-cry (from dancing too hard) within the same set. His upcoming project second skin strives to juxtapose the pains of grief, heartbreak, and regret with the joys of moving forward, growing outward, and finding a new self, thoroughly changed by past experiences but no longer burdened by them. The EP releases everywhere on September 15th, 2023 and will be performed in full at Edge Fest 2023. rico's set may also feature some guest appearances!

jack rudman
A fresh face to the indie music scene, jack rudman is a name to remember.
His style blends confessional folk songwriting with dark pop-rock production to create a lively yet intimate soundscape.
His debut EP, “tales from the dead”, is out now on all platforms.

Elijah Wells
Elijah Wells makes songs and sounds that are both cool and good, like really you should hear them. “I’m the best,” he says. Musically, Elijah achieves elements of “cool” and “really good” through his use of chords, notes, rhythms, etc. The LA native can be seen driving through Highland Park in a station wagon, blindfolded by his own hair and blasting the latest mix of something that should probably be deleted but won’t be (nothing matters).
