Boyd Watterson Asset Management
Timothy D. Walsh is a Portfolio Manager within Boyd’s real estate division and is based out of Connecticut. He is responsible for managing, along with the Co-Portfolio Manager, the firm’s open-ended REIT product. He works to develop and execute strategies to grow and maintain the REIT, while also optimizing returns through asset allocation and selection and process improvements. Tim also works on special initiatives across the real estate division.

Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in July of 2023, Tim spent 17 years of his career at UBS Asset Management as a Managing Director, member of the Investment and Management Committees, and Senior Portfolio Manager for the firm’s open-end, core-plus fund. He also spent a decade in acquisitions, closing more than $2.5 billion in fee simple, joint venture, and participating mortgage transactions across all property types and all major Northeast and Southeast markets. Tim’s diverse experience also includes eight years in property management, development, and construction in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Chicago.
