Join us for the East Kent Surgical Conference, formerly the William Harvey Surgical Evening. We have relaunched and rebranded the Conference to reflect the increasingly inclusive platform for surgeons, trainees, students and health professional colleagues to showcase work, share knowledge and network.

This will be our 6th year in running this CPD accredited Conference. This year delegates can attend both face to face and virtually. Attendance to this Conference offers 6 CPD points as awarded by the Royal college of Surgeons of England.

Frequently Asked Questions
I purchased a ticket and can no longer attend, can I receive a refund?
Refunds for cancelled registrations will be made as follows: by 30th October– 90% refund;
after 30th October– no refund.
Refunds will be made after the conference.

Will I receive a certificate for my portfolio?
Yes, certificates will be issued to delegates who attend the Conference and successfully submit the online feedback form

What happens if my abstract wins a prize but I am not attending the Prize Giving at the Gala Dinner?
Prize winners not attending the official Prize Giving ceremony at the Gala Dinner will be presented with their prize at the end of programme at the William Harvey Hospital

When will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
The outcome of abstract judging will be announced about 2 weeks after the abstract deadline. The abstract deadline is 29th October with a projected outcomes announcement on 12th November

What happens if my abstract is accepted but I have not registered to attend the conference?
Certificates will be provided once your abstracted is accepted only if u have registered for the day event and or evening dinner
Can I present an abstract remotely?
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, podium presentations must be presented in person
