Emerging Energy Opportunities for Industrials:
Reliability, Affordability, and Sustainability
 ELCON Spring 2023 Workshop
Join us on April 25
As the energy sector continues its rapid transformation, industrial consumers continue to feel the impacts of higher energy costs and decreased reliability, especially during extreme weather events. Transmission expansion necessary to enable the transition is estimated to cost billions, if not trillions, of dollars over the next 25 years and industrial sectors are increasingly targeted to incorporate greater efficiency and reduced carbon emissions in their operations, up and downstream.

However, emerging ideas may mitigate some of the pressure industrial consumers are experiencing. The Workshop will examine transmission concepts and government funding opportunities that can alleviate reliability, affordability, and sustainability challenges.
