EMDR therapists can also feel stuck when working with attachment trauma. This intermediate-level course is meant to help therapists develop some concrete interventions to use to help prepare a client for EMDR processing of attachment wounds. It will also help with some cognitive interweaves that can help when processing gets stuck. This course is targeted toward clinicians who are fully trained in EMDR and have an introductory knowledge of parts work. This course will integrate slides, live demonstrations, experiential work, and small group interactions.

Cathy Hanville, LCSW (They/She) They have been in private practice since 2001. First in San Francisco, then the East Bay, and now both in CA and PA where they now live. They specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, and gender diverse clients. They are certified as an EMDRIA Consultant and Continuing Education Provider. They run multiple consultation groups for EMDR certification and also see a lot of therapists for individual consultation. They love teaching therapists how to better work with their traumatized clients and helping them grow their skills. They especially want therapists to leave their classes with specific tools they can implement right away.
