Participating agencies include:  American Red Cross, Alameda County Water Department, CalFire Alameda County Sheriff, Earthquake Country Alliance, California Highway Patrol, USGS, PG&E, Just Serve, East Bay Regional Parks, Insurance Information Institute, Earthquake Brace and Bolt - CEA

This will be a family friendly event. First responders will have equipment on display. There will be some children-oriented activities in addition to visiting displays.

As a special treat for the young and young at heart, Captain Cal will be at PREP CON 4 LIFE to share his wisdom regarding fire, pool, earthquake, and all other types of safety.

The event includes displays that present information about earthquake preparedness, wellness, disaster relief, volunteer opportunities, and more. Interactive displays will afford the opportunity to practice splinting and tying bandages.
