We at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program are looking forward to welcoming attendees to honor Clinical Professor Emerita Deborah Anker, program Co-Founder, at our Emerging Issues in Immigration Law conference on March 30-31.
The conference will commence with a celebration to honor Professor Anker on Thursday, March 30th. A panel discussion with Professor Anker and co-founders, Nancy Kelly and John Willshire Carrera, will be held from 4:00-5:00 PM in Milstein East C on the HLS campus. They will discuss the program's significant and rich history. Following the panel, attendees will be invited to raise a toast to Professor Anker and celebrate her accomplishments.
On Friday, March 31st, the conference will feature three panels with distinguished advocates and experts addressing critical issues in immigration policy, including anti-blackness at the border, the abolition of immigration detention, and the impact of climate change on migration.
