Political Networking with
Equal Voice NWT Chapter
Join us on Friday November 14, 2025
Join Equal Voice NWT Chapter on November 14, 2025, at the Legislative Assembly's Great Hall for a mixer-style evening to kick off our 2025 Campaign Season initiative. This event brings together current and aspiring leaders in territorial and municipal politics for networking, insight-sharing, and community connection.
This gathering precedes our in-person Campaign School programming happening November 15–16 at the Yellowknife Public Library. These workshops offer practical tools and support for those interested in running for office, with a focus on women and gender-diverse candidates, and are proudly rooted in a northern legacy of inclusive leadership training.
Both events aim to foster connection, share knowledge, and strengthen gender equity in NWT politics. All are welcome in this respectful, inclusive space.
Support and Partnerships
Our Campaign School is made possible with support from the Gender Equity Division of the Government of the Northwest Territories, the Yellowknife Community Foundation “Get Her Elected Fund” and the Great Slave constituency office. We are also grateful for in-kind food contributions and the generosity of community partners, which help us keep events accessible and welcoming for all.
Impact and Inclusivity
By bringing together elected leaders and aspiring candidates, we hope to foster mentorship, networking, and positive support for political engagement. Our events are tailored to address inequities in the political process and to promote a culture of inclusivity and collaboration. We believe that by working together, we can help create a stronger, more representative democracy in the Northwest Territories.
