Join ESC for our exploration of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in our ongoing Works in Progress series of one-night-only events. Works in Progress offers a glimpse into ESC’s unique and innovative process, which focuses on utilizing ensemble and presence for storytelling.

We aspire to create theatre that we believe we need now: demanding, engaging, vulnerable, and complex. A bold ensemble and surprising casting choices invite our audience to join with us, destroy any staid, preconceived notions, and meet Shakespeare's extraordinary language anew. Our Works in Progress: Julius Caesar brings ancient Rome into our immediate present.

The evening will feature ESC’s working performance of Acts I, II, & III.1 of Julius Caesar, followed by cocktails and conviviality.
