As President and CEO of the National Western Stock Show, Wes Allison leads one of America's most iconic agricultural and Western heritage institutions. A Texas A&M graduate with degrees in agricultural economics and agriculture, Allison brings a lifelong connection to the industry. From his west Texas upbringing, and nearly 23 years as president and CEO of the Heart O' Texas Fair and Rodeo, Wes has an established record of expanding operations, increasing livestock exhibits and transforming organizations into thriving, year-round venues.
Allison assumes leadership at a pivotal moment for the National Western Stock Show, which celebrated its 120th anniversary in January 2026. Under his guidance, the Colorado institution is expanding its footprint through one of the country’s most ambitious urban renewal projects: The Legacy Building and the Sue Anschutz Rogers Livestock Center at the National Western Center, ensuring the National Western Stock Show continues to grow and inspire generations to come.
