Join my workshop on creating your own unique vessels- the techniques you'll learn in this workshop can be applied to creating vases, mugs, carafes, and cups. Embark on a charming creative journey where we'll get to know stoneware clay, the hand-building technique for shaping pottery from rolled clay, and create beautiful ceramic pieces.

Workshop highlights
INTRODUCTION TO HAND-BUILDING POTTERY:
We will acquaint ourselves with the hand-building technique for shaping pottery from rolled clay, learning to create beautiful and unique minimalist vessels, like vases, carafes, cups and mugs.
DESIGN & PLANNING:
Feel free to bring sketches or discuss your preferences during the workshop. You'll have the opportunity to choose elements for your set and customise your design to reflect your personal style.
HANDMADE CARAFES, CUPS, MUGS & VASES:
You'll have 3 1/2 hours to create your beautiful pieces, selecting from the option to create a carafe with matching cup or mug, or create a beautiful vase and accompanying piece.
SURFACE DECORATION:
We'll explore various processes and techniques for surface decoration, from textures to patterns.
GLAZING & FIRING:
Your products will be thoroughly dried, fired in the ceramic kiln, and glazed, ensuring a beautiful and durable finish suitable for long-term use. All glazes are food-safe.
OPTIONAL ADD-ONS:
If you would like to glaze your own fired pieces, choose a 2nd day as an add-on at checkout.
Add 22kt gold luster to your pieces. (This requires a 3rd firing and I will add the gold and fire for you).
FINAL PRODUCTS & USAGE:
3-4 weeks after the workshop, the products will be ready for pick-up and everyday use. Shipping is also an option. Your dinnerware will be dishwasher safe.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter. Whether you're seeking a unique clay-shaping experience or want to gift someone a special experience, this workshop is right for you!
