Dr. John Lipman is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and renowned authority in the non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids. He received his Masters and Medical degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1985. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and then did a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine.        Dr. Lipman is the Founder & Medical Director of the Atlanta Fibroid Center; a state of the art medical facility that specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of uterine fibroids and has cared for women from throughout the world.

As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist with a practice in Mansfield, Texas, Dr. Ruth Arumala provides evidence based medical care to women of all ages at all aspects of their lives. Dr. Arumala specializes in the medical and surgical management of fibroids, PCOS, sexual dysfunction, pregnancy and menopause. In addition to private practice, Dr. Arumala serves on the executive board of Texas Health Mansfield.  Given her passion for “all things women,” Dr. Arumala also serves as the entertaining hostess of the ‘Pretty + Pink Podcast.” From fashion to fitness, fibroids and faith, Dr. Arumala interviews inspirational female expert guests who explore a broad range of topics that affect women.

Dr. Nicole Williams has an extensive research background . She was a National Institutes of Health research grant recipient in plasmid DNA research during medical school and also presented research on Intravenous Leiomyomatosis at the University of Chicago.  Active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), she has served as the Junior Fellow Illinois Section Chairperson and was appointed to a national position on the International Affairs Committee. Dedicated to the welfare of women, Dr. Williams has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Rwanda, Haiti, Cambodia, The Phillippines, and Ghana to perform necessary gynecologic surgery.  For 3 years, Dr. Williams held a position as teaching faculty and Clinical Instructor with the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She served as chairman of the DaVinci Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee at Mercy Hospital, developing their Robotic Gynecologic Surgery Program.  In 2014, she became only the second physician in the state of Illinois to be certified in the Acessa procedure for fibroids.  In addition, she received training under a world reknowned Chicago Urogynecologist and has adopted non-mesh techniques for pelvic organ prolapse.

Mrs. La-Anna Douglas is the Founder & Creator of HopeStillStands; a Hebrews 11:1 Ministry. Starting at the age of 10, La-Anna suffered with horrible periods, pelvic pain that radiated down her legs, the embarrassment of having accidents during the time of the month at school and eventually at work. As a teenager, La-Anna always felt that she was having 2 cycles in a span of 3-4 days each month but the doctors would tell her she was just having bad cramps.It was in La-Anna’s late 20’s where her doctor finally discovered that she was born with a didelphys uterus which is a double uterus with a double cervix, she was also diagnosed with endometriosis and 3 small fibroids.  La-Anna shares her journey and uses her platform to empower others going through the same struggle.
