Health care talent shortages are a problem. Workers are needed to fill jobs at all levels and across all sectors of the medical field. From entry level positions, to those requiring advanced degrees and training – employers are struggling to remain fully staffed. It’s clear. There’s a major issue at hand. But Macomb County Planning and Economic Development (MCPED) has a solution.
MCPED launched its
Fueling the Talent Pipeline program with the goal of connecting employers with the next generation of talent via k-12 school programming. Why do we do this? We need young people to begin exploring career options so we can build tomorrow’s workforce, today.
Please join us on Dec. 8. Breakfast is at 8:30, program begins promptly at 9 a.m. to learn more about the initiative at our informational breakfast aimed at the health care industry.
