Talent shortages are a problem. Workers are needed to fill jobs at all levels and across all industries. From entry positions, to those requiring advanced degrees and training – employers are struggling to remain fully staffed. It’s clear. There’s a major issue at hand. But Macomb County Planning and Economic Development (MCPED) has a solution.
MCPED launched its
Fueling the Talent Pipeline program with the goal of connecting employers with the next generation of talent via k-12 school programming. Why do we do this? We need young people to begin exploring career options so we can build tomorrow’s workforce, today.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 20 at 9 a.m. to learn more about the initiative, at our upcoming informational webinar. Hear from participating organizations, the schools we support and our team as we share ways you can help the program grow.
