Workshop #2:
A Scholarly Workshop on Fiqh with Mufti Hisham Dawood from Darul Qasim, Chicago
Alhamdulillah, by the Grace and Mercy of Allah(swt),
Masjid Ar Rahman in partnership with Darul Qasim College, Chicago is happy to bring to you in Coatesville, PA Workshop #2 in the series of Scholarly Workshops.
We believe obtaining Scholarly Islamic Education is a community obligation and each one of us must take personal responsibility to attend and benefit from these programs. The program is open to all brothers and sisters and to youth(boys and girls) ages 15 and above.
The Fiqh workshop will be presented by Mufti Hisham Dawood. Mufti Hisham is Chairperson of the Department of Islamic Law (Shariah) at the Darul Qasim College of Higher Islamic Education, Chicago. He is also the Chair of Darul Ifta Department, that specializes in the Islamic rulings or Fatawas.
This two-part presentation on Fiqh(aka Islamic Jurisprudence or Shariah Law) will be as follows:
Part 1 - Friday September 27, from 6pm to 8 pm
Part 2 - Saturday September 28, from 9 am to 12 noon
Light refreshments will be provided on Friday evening and light breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning. Classes will start ON TIME. Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
The subject will be presented thru power point slides and inter-active discussions in a class-room style setting. Participants are requested to bring their laptop/note-pad/pen to take notes to optimize the benefits from this Scholarly Workshop. This workshop will advance your understanding of the Shariah and drive home its importance and relevance in day's day and age.
