First Time Home Buyer Class Washington State Housing and Finance Commission
At this fun first time home buyer's class you will learn about many different loan products including the Washington State Housing and Finance Commission down payment assistance loan products. You will learn about the credit, income, and assets required for mortgage loans. You will be guided through the entire real estate process which will include getting pre-approved, shopping for a home, making an offer, the closing process, and much more! Lunch is provided and we will break up the day with educational games! Your instructors will be Walter Howard, Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and Sales Manager of The Howard Team at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, and Katie Ferguson, Real Estate Broker at The Toril Sells Houses Team. Between your two instructors, they have more than 30 years experience in the Pacific Northwest Real Estate Industry.

Katie Ferguson is a real estate broker on The Toril Sells Houses Team. She has more than 10 years of real estate experience. She is a buyers and sellers agent. She is a strong negotiator and her clients all say she is easy to talk to. She lives in Covington, WA with her husband and two children.
