Recreational Aviation Australia, along with Principal Sponsor the AMDA Foundation, are pleased to announce that Fly’n for Fun is returning 12-14 April 2024.
Recreational Aviation Australia Limited and AMDA Foundation Limited will collaborate once again to organize Fly'n For Fun in Parkes, New South Wales from 12-14 April 2024. Building on the success of the 2022 event, which attracted over 70 aircraft and numerous aviation enthusiasts, the 2024 edition will feature an expanded program. This will include static displays, seminars, trial introductory flights, and vendor exhibitions. Additionally, under-wing camping will be available behind the HARS Parkes Aviation Museum, allowing campers to park their aircraft on-site.
The event aims to bring together the recreational aviation community, providing a social gathering and recovery opportunity post-COVID pandemic. With increased sponsorship from AMDA Foundation, the event will offer a broader range of activities such as static displays, seminars, and trial flights.
Furthermore, participants will have the chance to camp under their aircraft's wings, facilitated by the HARS Parkes Aviation Museum. The event will take place from 12-14 April 2024, with the venue relocation allowing for enhanced infrastructure and amenities.

RAAus and Avalon Airshow organiser AMDA Foundation Limited partnered to deliver a fly-in event at Parkes, NSW in April 2022, where private aviators came together in a social and enjoyable environment to stimulate recreational flying in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
