Dr Arjun Goyal is an Australian physician, biotechnology investor and Founder and Managing Partner of Vianti Capital. Vianti invests in therapeutics companies developing medicines globally. Arjun co-founded Vida Ventures in 2017 and helped build the firm to US$1.8 billion under management. His honours include the 2021 Advance Award and recognition among Australia’s 25 Most Influential Global Game-Changers in 2026. Arjun trained at the University of Melbourne and holds an M.Phil. from Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ashok Holla is an Applied AI Engineering Lead on Google Cloud's AI for Science team. He has been at Google Cloud for 9+ years, holding several roles and working on cutting-edge technologies. Previously, Ashok was one of the first Applied AI engineers to work on the Wizard of Oz project for Las Vegas Sphere and has since worked on generative media projects worldwide. Today, Ashok and his team productise Google DeepMind's science models—AlphaGenome, AlphaFold 3, WeatherNext—and science applications such as AlphaEvolve and Co-Scientist.

Rachel B Wagman, MD, FACE, FACP is a patient-focused drug developer with over 20 years' experience in women's health and metabolic bone disease. In clinical leadership roles at Eli Lilly, Amgen and Myovant Sciences, she advanced five molecules to registration, including the osteoporosis treatments Forteo, Prolia and Evenity. At Myovant, she helped develop Myfembree, which was acquired by Sumitomo Pharma and is now FDA approved for endometriosis pain. She is Chief Clinical Advisor at Entera Bio, which is developing an oral bone-building tablet for postmenopausal osteoporosis. Rachel holds dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

Dr Ceri Cashell (MBChB, FRACGP) is a specialist GP, medical writer, researcher, speaker and leading advocate for women's health equity. She is the co-founder of Healthy Hormones — Australia's only medically moderated menopause education app and clinician-training platform — now reaching over 8,000 women and 4,000 clinicians. She is also the creator of So Hot Right Now, the world's largest menopause event, which brought midlife health to centre stage at the Sydney Opera House in 2025. Ceri translates complex science into clear, accessible, evidence-based information.

Professor Elif Ekinci is a clinician scientist and academic endocrinologist working to translate research into improved outcomes for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Her research focuses on the pathophysiology, prevention, detection and treatment of diabetes and its complications. She is Head of Department of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and Head of Diabetes research at Austin Health. She is the inaugural director of Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations (ACADI), and has almost 300 peer reviewed publications, an H index of 52 and attracted over $50 M in research funding.

Henri is the Co-Founder and COO of Gallant Bio, a preclinical stage biotech developing first-in-class therapeutics to resensitise the hypothalamus in obesity. She is passionate about helping life-altering medicines reach underserved patient populations and strengthening Australia's position as a global leader in medical innovation. Henri was previously a Founder in Residence at Tin Alley Ventures and commercial / go-to-market strategy advisor in McKinsey & Company's Life Sciences practice. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne.

Jake Parker is Founder and CSO of Cuttlefish Bio, developing targeted therapies for solid tumours using antibody-directed enzyme prodrug therapy. A structural biologist and computational protein engineer, he previously founded the protein design consultancy Yakka Bio, working across therapeutic antibody engineering, immunogen scaffolding on de novo backbones, and biosensor design.

Professor Jeanne Tie is a consultant medical oncologist and heads the Lower GI Medical Oncology Program at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and Senior Research Fellow at WEHI. She has built a research career focused on colorectal cancer therapeutic trials and the clinical application of ctDNA. Her 2016 Science Translational Medicine paper showed ctDNA could detect residual disease after surgery, leading to the practice-changing DYNAMIC trial (NEJM, 2022). She has published 170+ papers with 23,000+ citations and chairs the GI Cancer Trials Lower GI Working Party.

Professor Leanne M. Redman, FTOS is the Academic Director of the Charles Perkins Centre, where she leads the Centre’s mission to improve global health through innovative, interdisciplinary research. An internationally recognised scientist in nutrition, metabolism, and obesity, Professor Redman is known for her leadership in building large-scale research enterprises and fostering collaborative scientific communities.  Professor Redman’s scientific expertise spans human energy metabolism, weight-loss physiology, maternal and infant health, and clinical trials aimed at improving metabolic outcomes across the lifespan.

Michael Azrak is General Manager, Oceania, at Novo Nordisk, where he leads a team of more than 300 people across Australia and New Zealand. A global biopharmaceutical executive with more than 30 years of experience, he has built, scaled and transformed businesses across four continents. Before joining Novo Nordisk, Michael was the founding General Manager of Moderna Australia and New Zealand, building the affiliate into a 150-person organisation and negotiating a landmark 10-year partnership to establish Australia’s first end-to-end mRNA manufacturing capability. He previously spent 20 years with MSD.

Dr Michael Costello is a Gynaecologist and board-certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility sub specialist. He is Medical Director of Monash IVF NSW and a clinical academic at UNSW and the Royal Hospital for Women. He has published over 100 scientific papers and book chapters and regularly presents nationally and internationally. Dr Costello has led evidence-based guidelines on PMOS and unexplained infertility, and is a member of the International PCOS Name Change Steering Committee and an author of the 2026 Lancet publication introducing new PMOS terminology.

Pavithra Coimbatore Sainath is an Applied AI Blackbelt at Google, based in Singapore, where she works on bringing life-science models onto the agent platform. Her core expertise is model quality and evaluation, defining evaluation criteria and working alongside model and product teams so findings shape the next generation of releases. She has deep agentic AI experience across agent architecture, memory, and tool use, and partners with healthcare customers across Australia to build AI solutions in production. She also advocates for AI best practices and runs workshops at universities.

Dr. Brett McKinnon is the Deputy Chair of the Ainsworth Endometriosis Research Institute, a Group leader at the University of Queensland, and holds a dual position with the Department of Gynaecology at Inselspital Bern. He serves on the Clinical Advisory Committee of Endometriosis Australia and The World Endometriosis Society Mid-career board. Dr. McKinnon established the Endometriosis Research Queensland Study (ERQS), one of Australia’s largest endometriosis studies. His work has identified genetic and cellular signatures guiding personalised treatment strategies and pioneered patient-derived endometrial organoids.

Steve is the Managing Director of Tenmile and Chair of the Investment Committee. Steve’s professional experience spans research, philanthropy, strategy consulting, M&A, and operating global businesses in fields as diverse as ecology, digital health, and precision oncology. He is relentlessly passionate about the power of new technology to positively impact human health and mitigate our climate impacts. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biology and a Ph.D. in Population Biology from the University of Sydney.

Aizaz is the Senior Portfolio and Investment Manager at Tenmile. He leads, originates and manages investments as well as overseeing the overall portfolio. He has spent the last 10 years investing in early-stage technologies particularly across deep tech, software and manufacturing as well as providing strategy, financial and commercial advice in Australia. He graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.).

Joey Man is an Investment Associate with Tenmile where she enjoys working on a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies that have the potential to transform the biotech and medtech landscape. Joey holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Monash University’s Biomedicine Discovery Institute, her research focusing on breast cancer cell signalling and metastasis. 

Emily Casey is Community & Partnership Lead at Tenmile and specialises in strategic initiatives, communications and digital health.  Emily completed the majority of an BMSci/MD, then then left for the world of finance and technology. She is the founder of What the health, a healthech media company and community of 11,000 and was previously Investment Principal at Side Stage Ventures.

Michael Lamprecht is an Investment Manager at Tenmile specializing in biotechnology, startups, and early-stage investments. With over 15 years in the field, he has a unique background in developing regulatory and clinical strategies for novel cell-based therapies. Mike holds a PhD in biomedical engineering from Columbia University, along with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University.
