Forensics Occupational Therapy
Working at the intersection of disability and justice spaces can be complex, and Occupational Therapists play a crucial role in ensuring participants receive safe, ethical, and disability‑focused support.

This webinar clarifies what OTs can and cannot do within the justice–NDIS space, giving clinicians the confidence to navigate this highly specialised area.

In this engaging session, you'll learn about:

  • The role of an NDIS Occupational Therapist, including functional and environmental assessments
  • What is outside the OT scope within the justice system, including enforcement and criminogenic risk tasks
  • Safety and risk considerations that fall within OT practice
  • The OT journey across justice settings, including assessment, reporting, transition and release planning
  • How to collaborate effectively with justice and community teams while maintaining clear responsibilities
