Off to the Derby: Rooted in Christ

And they're off!

Each year, Celebration Lutheran School gathers our families, friends, community partners, and supporters for our largest fundraiser of the year—an evening dedicated to celebrating and sustaining the ministry God has entrusted to us.

At Celebration Lutheran School, our mission is Academic Excellence in an Atmosphere of Christian Love. From our youngest learners in 3K through our graduating 8th graders, we have the privilege of helping students grow their minds, deepen their faith, discover their God-given gifts, and prepare to step confidently into the world beyond our four walls.

This year, we're Off to the Derby as we celebrate our school year theme, Rooted in Christ, inspired by Colossians 2:6–7: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith…”

The Kentucky Derby may be known as the most exciting two minutes in sports, but raising and educating children is a much longer race! It takes perseverance, purpose, faithful partners, and a firm foundation. At CLS, we believe our students are best equipped to run the race before them when they are deeply rooted in the One who makes all things possible.

Your participation in our Gala helps make that possible.

Gala proceeds directly support the continued operation, growth, and success of our school ministry. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship given, auction bid placed, and donation made helps us continue providing an exceptional Christ-centered education where students can encounter Jesus, grow their brains and their faith, and become equipped to serve and lead in the world around them.

We could not run this race alone. We are incredibly grateful for the families, businesses, churches, community partners, alumni, and friends who come alongside our school and invest in the next generation.
