In response to the ongoing occupation in Gaza, a distinguished panel including Dr. Cornel West, Brother Ajamu Baraka, Attorney Maria Kari, Professor George Bisharat, and Community Activist Tariq Luthun (MC) —has been convened. Dr. West brings a moral lens to the discussion, emphasizing the importance of justice and solidarity. Baraka adds a global perspective on human rights, stressing the need for international support. Kari focuses on the critical role of digital platforms in documenting abuses and mobilizing action, while Bisharat provides a legal framework for understanding the conflict. Luthun offers a personal and poignant narrative, bridging the gap between the Gazan experience and the global call for peace and dignity.

Brother Ajamu Baraka

Attorney Maria Kari

Legal expert and Immigration Attorney specializing in international law and human rights, Maria will discuss the legal framework governing the situation in Gaza, exploring avenues for accountability and justice.

Professor George Bisharat
  Scholar and expert in Middle Eastern studies, Professor George Bisharat will examine the historical context and political dynamics shaping the Gaza conflict, offering insights into potential paths toward resolution and peace.

MC: Tariq Luthun

Tariq Luthun, a community organizer, data engineer, and acclaimed poet, holds an MFA from Warren Wilson College, he's a board member at The Offing. His debut poetry collection, "How the Water Holds Me," won the 2020 Frost Place Chapbook Prize and was published by Bull City Press.

We strive to unite the Palestinian and American communities by honoring and showcasing Palestine’s rich history and culture, with the main goal of raising Aid for Palestinians in need.

PAB has a long history of funding life saving medical missions going into Gaza, and has been on the front lines of the 2023 Genocide by coordinating the first medical mission into Gaza. We continue to send medical missions that provide life-saving care to the victims in Gaza on a monthly basis.
