ABOUT OUR NONPROFIT PARTNER
HOPE International is a global Christian economic development organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty. Through Christ-centered microfinance, church-based savings groups, and discipleship, HOPE empowers individuals across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe to build lasting change for their families and communities.

WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll hear from Peter Greer, President and CEO of HOPE International, who will share how entrepreneurs, savings groups, and local leaders are reshaping lives with dignity and hope, as well as Lesly Jules, regional director of savings groups in Haiti and West Africa. We’ll also hear a personal testimony from David Park, who will reflect on his family’s decision to partner with HOPE and the impact they’ve witnessed firsthand.

As with all Generous Life events, we will be inviting you to explore bold generosity in community, learn from effective global partners, and imagine how our giving can lead to bold generosity. Peter Greer
President and CEO, HOPE International

Peter is the President and CEO of HOPE International, a global nonprofit dedicated to alleviating physical and spiritual poverty in 29 countries. He especially values time spent with the remarkable entrepreneurs HOPE serves. A graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School, Peter has co-authored more than 15 books, including Lead with Prayer, Mission Drift, Rooting for Rivals, and How Leaders Lose Their Way.

Though his sports loyalties remain firmly in New England, he and his wife, Laurel, make their home in Lancaster, PA, with their four children.
David Park 
Founder, Abide Gathering and City Chapel

David is a founder of the Abide Gathering and City Chapel, two communities pursuing faith and flourishing through a journey of wholeness that deepens connection with God and others. He also leads Supra Solem, a family investment vehicle that partners with leaders, companies, and organizations working to make all things new.

Before a career in commercial real estate investing, David served as Director of Microfinance Institutions at World Relief. He later joined the Board of Trustees for HOPE International. Today, he remains active in several work and faith communities, including Telemachus, the Christian Economic Forum, Praxis, and Leadership X.

David and his wife, Jean, live in New York City with their three sons.
Lesly Jules
Regional Director of Savings Group Programs- Haiti and West Africa

Lesly supports HOPE International’s savings group programs in Haiti and West Africa, bringing more than 25 years of experience in community and economic development. His leadership has been vital to the health and growth of HOPE’s savings group program in Haiti, especially during a season marked by civil unrest, gang violence, and political uncertainty.

Lesly and his wife, Kerline, are the proud parents of their son, Oliver.
