Getting Comfortable with 
Next Gen RTU Startup
Hosted by Next Gen Rooftop Unit initiative from the Efficient Technology Accelerator (ETA).
This half-day training will include two sessions. Session one, from 8:00 - 9:30, will introduce heat pump RTUs and ERVs, showing contractors how to highlight their benefits to customers and identify upselling opportunities. Session two, from 10:00 -11:30, will walk attendees through the practical application of startup.

The training will reinforce foundational knowledge while equipping contractors with strategies and tools to improve performance, reduce issues in the field, and strengthen customer communication.

This training is built for working contractors. Attendees are encouraged to bring a tablet for hands-on activity.

Meet the Trainer

As RTU Channel Manager, Ian works with commercial HVAC partners on education and training for CEE's services and projects. 
Ian has worked as an installer, designer, and consultant in the HVAC industry and has two decades of teaching and training experience. 
Ian attended Dunwoody College for trade school, Bethel Mennonite College for his undergraduate and the College of St. Scholastica for graduate school.
