Hello dance friends!

We are so excited to host the DanceFam Studio 2023 Glass City Dance Weekender on May 5-6, 2023 in the Toledo, Ohio area. We are looking forward to continuing bringing education and camaraderie to the Glass City's dance community with our second-consecutive weekender event.

We will be at the Monclova Community Center Banquet Hall, in the same building as DanceFam's Toledo Studio. This year will be a bit different from last year, with more social dance and connection-building opportunities and workshops looking at both social, competitive, and performance dance.

The weekend will kick off with an evening welcome social dance with two (2) Zouk/Kizomba workshops on Friday (May 5).

The next day will include a student showcase on Saturday (May 6). We will have flights and solos during the later morning/early afternoon and invite students and instructors from across Ohio and Michigan to join us. We are thrilled to have U.S. International Latin Champion and boss-babe Kimberley Mitchell as our guest judge and coach for the event. She will provide written and verbal feedback on all student presentations.

After the showcase, we will offer three (3) workshops -- two by Kimberley Mitchell and one by Heri Perez and Nika Obrosova.

The day will include a student showcase, happy hour, catered dinner, general dance, and pro show. We welcome pro/am, am/am, formation, and even non-ballroom routines! We also would love to have participating studio professionals participate in the pro show.

Kimberley will be available for private lessons in the studio on Sunday, May 7.
