Food Policy:
Puma Hills is designated as a high wildlife impact area. We are thrilled to have this designation. During the summer months it is not unusual to see moose, bear, elk, deer, fox, rabbits, eagles, hummingbirds and owls to name a few critters that visit our valley. We strive to be good stewards of the land. To that end, we ask that you join us during your stay in being good stewards. Most of our lodging options are under canvas, therefore food, drinks (other than unflavored water) cannot be kept in these structures. They will, without a doubt, attract bears. We do have a few shared bear proof containers for toiletries, however, we recommend that you consider purchasing a small, personal bear proof container for convenience.

Beer, wine, and spirits and a variety of snacks will be available for purchase at very reasonable prices. Alcohol may not be brought onto the property.

How to Get Here:
Bison Peak Lodge at Puma Hills is located at 20859 County Road 77, Lake George CO 80827. We are located between mile marker 21 and 22. If you are coming from Denver, pass mile marker 21, and we are 1/2 mile down the road to your right. If coming from Colorado Springs, pass mile marker 22, and we will be 1/2 mile on your left.
