Why is it that Christianity has always provoked these kinds of responses? Some see it as outdated, restrictive, or misunderstood, while others find in it the truth, hope, and life that nothing else can offer. But with so many assumptions and misconceptions surrounding the Christian faith, an important question remains: What does Christianity actually believe, teach, and do?
For our 2026 GRCC Annual Summer Retreat, join us as we explore the theme, Clarifying Christianity: Misconceptions of the Christian Faith. Together, we will examine common misunderstandings about Christianity and compare them with the truth of Scripture. Through meaningful conversations, biblical teaching, and fellowship, we hope to gain a clearer understanding of the Christian faith and the God it proclaims. Come ready to learn, grow, and build memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Cost Breakdown
Adult (17 and older): $40 per person
Children (16 and under): FREE
The retreat package includes two nights and four meals w/ snacks and drinks all day.We accept PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo (see QR codes below).
Funds must be collected before August 8, 2026.
Important Information
The following will help you prepare for the summer retreat:

- Parking (red circles)
- 75-80 degree weather with hiking and swimming available
- Bedspreads, blankets, and pillows provided (no flat sheet)
- Bring toiletries and towels, sunblock, etc.
- Bring a potluck dish for Friday night
- Bring small Bible and a pen
Agenda information (subject to change):
- Friday: 5pm arrival, 7pm potluck dinner, 8pm introductory session and small groups
- Saturday: 8am breakfast, 9am session and groups, 12pm lunch, 1pm free time, 6pm dinner, 7pm session and groups
- Sunday: 8am breakfast, 9am session, 10:30am group photo, 12pm checkout
