Dear Fellow Masters, Instructors, and Practitioners of Taekwondo:

I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all of you who have supported our Taekwondo events in the past and especially to those who are first-time participants. It is with honor and great pleasure that I extend to you my personal invitation to participate in the 27th Golden State Open Taekwondo Championship, held at the Azusa Pacific University - Felix Event Center on Saturday, March 21st, 2026.

What is unique about this tournament is that not only does it include individual Poomsae and Sparring events, but also features a Team Demonstration Competition. Our goal for this tournament is to give our youths an opportunity to achieve their goals and develop a winning attitude in life.

2026 marks our 27th year hosting this tournament.  Utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technology, this year's Golden State Open Taekwondo Championship promises to be the most exciting one to date.  All rings will be equipped with KP&P, an electronic scoring system, with monitor displays for each ring. Black Belt Divisions 8~32 will be using Electronic Chest & Head Protectors! Do not miss your opportunity to be part of the most accurate and most fair tournament ever!

We will ensure a safe, efficient, and organized festival-like tournament is provided for Taekwondo enthusiasts of all ages and rank levels.
