Will I be paid for attending?
Employees in attendance for this event will be paid for the duration of the event. Attendees must check-in at the registration table.
What if I can only attend for half of the day?
If you can only join for part of the day, please work with your manager to plan your hours.
What if I can't make the event due to work?
If you’re unable to attend the event due to work, please coordinate directly with your manager.
I am typically laid off during this time. How will my unemployment be affected?
Each state has a different unemployment benefit and calculation. You will report your wages paid on your weekly unemployment claim request. Generally speaking, if your wages paid are less than your weekly unemployment benefit amount, you should be eligible for partial employment benefits. Questions on this can be directed to Chris Sandberg at [email protected].
Are meals covered?
Breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees.
