Heart Lessons of the Journey:
 For Healthcare Providers
With Cece Sykes

Our work as IFS-informed healthcare providers is interesting, uniquely challenging and deeply rewarding. We listen to narratives, we attune to emotions and offer support and guidance. Our own deep feelings and storyline remain firmly in the background. Yet, life is evolving for us too.

Who is listening to our story? How did our early family life impact our choice to be here? How might encountering personal struggles impact our professional journey? Have we taken enough time to tune into our own heart lessons?

In this full day online session, join other IFS-informed healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, NPs, PAs, physiotherapists, OTs and more) in an unforgettable experience. Listening to your own story and sharing the lessons from it with others will leave you feeling restored, with a deeper understanding of your journey and a closer connection to the real sources of your unique wisdom and path.

The day will include guided meditations, journaling, teachings and sharings from Cece, a demo, and opportunities to connect with others in small groups. The emphasis is on your own experience, and becoming an even more heart-centred practitioner.

If you are familiar with the basics of IFS and feel comfortable 'speaking for your parts' then this workshop is for you.

COST: $250 USD (Early Bird until Jan.24)

A reduced rate of $175 is available for students and those with circumstances or burdens that impact economic security and ability to benefit from these offerings.

It Doesn’t Have to Be This Way: A Physician’s Guide to Radical Self-care
(from three physicians who’ve been there)

With this workshop we are pleased and excited to pre-launch our book! We (Risa, Robin and Elizabeth) were inspired to explore and write about our own journeys of becoming physicians and therapists after participating in Cece’s Heart Lessons of the Journey workshop in 2019. With this book, we hope to inspire our physician colleagues to connect with the parts of themselves that come up in their work, for their own self-care and benefit to others. We have a deep wish to bring healing to healthcare providers and the medical system as a whole. The proceeds from this workshop will go towards connecting our book to physicians who might otherwise not hear of IFS.
