Because of the war, the number of premature babies has increased by at least 15%. Behind this figure there are thousands of vulnerable children who were born prematurely and cannot survive without special help.
Incubators are needed to save their little hearts.
An incubator is basically a very advanced crib. It can create a special environment with the necessary oxygen concentration, humidity, temperature levels, silence and lighting, while also allowing parenteral nutrition and round-the-clock monitoring of vital signs.
The aim of the project is to buy 10 incubators (at approximately £220,000).
Hearts With Ukraine are aiming to raise £10,000 to contribute towards the project.2. 'Mental Health Aid for Women & Children' at
Ukraine Charity, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (registration No. 1163036). The charity has directed over £2,140,000 in 2022/2023 to support Ukraine primarily focusing on helping children, supporting orphanages and refugee shelters, providing medical equipment to children's hospitals and funding education and development programs.
Hearts With Ukraine are aiming to raise £10,000 to contribute towards mental health program for women and children affected by the conflict, where professional psychologists provide required assistance and ongoing support. We are looking forward to hosting you on the 29th June at the Caledonian.
