The Hire Newark Book Club is a professional reading and accountability group moderated by our High-Performance Career Coaches designed to help members learn new skills, find new ideas, and experience paradigm shifts. The Hire Newark Book Club is free and open to anyone interested in joining a community where they can learn from one another and, through professional life and career coaches, take the learning to a deeper level.

OUR SPRING BOOK SELECTION
John G. Miller believes that the troubles that plague organizations cannot be solved by pointing fingers and blaming others. Rather, the real solutions are found when each of us recognizes the power of personal accountability. In QBQ! The Question Behind the Question, Miller explains how negative, inappropriate questions like "why do we have to go through all this change?" and "who dropped the ball?" represent a lack of personal accountability. Conversely, when we ask better questions, QBQs, such as "what can I do to contribute?" or "how can I help solve the problem?" our lives and our organizations are transformed.

Meet Our Coach
Kenric S. Lynn
Kenric S. Lynn is the CEO and founder of Local Noon, LLC., a personal and professional development consulting company. Local Noon provides high quality, value-added speaking, coaching, and leadership training services. Kenric retired from the United States Army after 23 years of honorable service to his country. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, from Trident University. He is an Executive Director with the John Maxwell Team and is certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development, professional skills and personal growth. Kenric is happily married to the brilliant and beautiful, Schandalette L. Lynn. He is the proud father of six children and relishes in the fact he is also the grandfather of four wonderful grandchildren. Kenric is passionate about helping people increase their awareness, discover their purpose, and pursue their dreams. His personal motto is: “Loving Life. Inspired to Serve. Growing Every Day.”
