This will be a free information session that will empower you with the knowledge and skills to provide meaningful and empathetic care to further support your loved one. This session will be delivered by our team of qualified and trusted trainers with a program tailored to support family carers.
Topics covered will include: - how to communicate effectively with a person living with dementia - the benefits of person-centred care and maintaining quality of life - the importance of self-care - how to recognise the signs of compassion fatigue
Through this immersive learning experience, you’ll gain insight into what it’s like to live with a cognitive condition and learn techniques to help your loved one to live well, all in a supportive environment.
