It has been 45 years of oppression by the Islamic Regime in Iran. The Islamic Republic in Iran is the world's leader in executions per capita domestically and the number one state sponsor of terrorism globally.  
In September 2022, Mahsa Amini, an innocent Iranian girl, was brutally beaten and murdered by the Regime’s thugs while under arrest by the Morality Police for “improper hijab.” Her murder reignited the revolution in Iran and inspired millions of people all over the world. In the aftermath of Mahsa’s murder, the regime killed more than 600 people who were protesting on the streets and arrested over 20 thousand of them. When that did not stop the protestors, they started shooting them in the eyes to maim them. There have been over 1000 cases of Iranians losing 1 or 2 eyes to this new tactic.

Standing with the people of Iran in their fight against the regime is not just the moral thing to do, but it is also in the best interest of Western civilization. The Regime’s philosophy of “exporting the Islamic Revolution” led to the creation of the largest global terrorist network in history, known as the IRGC. Under the banner of the IRGC, many terrorist groups received arms, funding and training. These groups included Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Houthis, Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi and many more. The IRGC had a direct hand in the execution of the October 7th terrorist attacks. 

The IRGC is not just active in the Middle East, they run narco-terrorism in South America and infiltrate universities, political parties and media outlets in the West. They have also had a hand in instigating all the radicals on the streets of Canada, trying to undermine our civilization.

The Islamic Republic has very strong ties with communist regimes such as the CCP, the regime in Cuba, the regime in Venezuela, the regime in Russia and many others. Both communists and Islamists share a goal of destroying the West. This year we finally had a great victory, as we forced the Liberal government to designate the IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It has been a long term effort by many individuals and groups to get this listing and we are proud of everyone who contributed.

At ICARE, it is our belief that the freedom loving people of the world should stand with the people of Iran. We are also glad that the Mehdi Amin foundation will support this event. The Mehdi Amin foundation is based on supporting the fight against the Islamic Regime and dedicated to the words of Mehdi Amin: "We won't allow Islamists to take over Canada." Mehdi Amin fought for civil rights in both Iran and Canada before being killed in Markham on October 22nd, 2020.
